I am looking to find homes for six beautiful puppies. They have had their first vacancies and worming. The breed name is German Wolfhound. This breed has been around for over 400 years but isn’t highly populated. The German Shepherd is a highly revered breed that is used in serving our country. A intelligent, loyal and well posed guard dog. Many know the Irish Wolfhound as the largest of dog breed. There massive size and power used for hunting wolves to near extinction. A gentle giant to their human counterparts this breed captures the heart’s of many.
I fell in love with both breeds many years ago. I moved back to my hometown and made a reality of my dreams. Knowing each breed to an extent still served no justice to the wonderful experience I have experienced. I know have 7 German Wolfhounds. As much as I would love to keep them all I’ve found my limit on feeding so many.
I have rescued many breeds through out my life and trained many of them to be adopted. I have never came across such eager to please and easily trained pups. I dedicated my time daily if only for 15 minutes as work allowed. I now have companionship I can trust to comfort me when I’m down, to watch after me in the fields as I work. A companion who stays close and is eager for a job to do. The traits from each breed making an overall award winner for farm and family. With the price of livestock and feeding being whipped out by coyotes or even weasels is breathtaking. I trained each pup to check all livestock on their property including two rescue horses. Having them respond quickly to protect our farm after losing 40 ducks, 20 chickens and a few of our goats. They have earned their home for life.
My female was on a waiting list to be fixed however she had her own mind. This was an unexpected litter but somewhere is a human in need of a loyal companion. Born on the Fourth of July 7 puppies made their first appearance. With my son being a Marine in his second year I have made the decision to keep a puppy for him. Her name is Freedom, I will dedicate my time to her. I believe my hero deserves a hero of his own. Loving, loyal and dedicated to the job at hand.
I’m hoping to find them homes they can love and learn in, a child, wife and family to protect and provide happiness to. There is a small rehome fee to ensure their best chance at life. If you can dedicate at least 15 minutes per day training a puppy the rewards are phenomenal. I used methods of Nate Schoemer and police academy training. Both can be found on YouTube with full instructions that simplify the process. Your hero and best friend awaits you.
