Stevie is around 13 years old and spayed. I rescued her from a family in Las Vegas 4 years ago because "no one in the family really wanted her". Stevie is a sweet lady, polite, undemanding, quiet. She did get along with my older male cat, but it took awhile, Stevie is shy and timid with strangers. In the 4 years I've had her Stevie has gone deaf. I have worked with her retraining her to respond to hand signals rather than sounds. She is healthy otherwise.Stevie does best with a consistent routine for feeding and treats, she's not terribly active but will play if enticed. She does love to be petted and brushed and will cheerfully roll over and let you stroke her belly! Stevie is affectionate and loves to sit next you or on your lap. I was told that Stevie was essentially an "outside cat" while living in Las Vegas. She may have been at one time, but for me, she has been an indoor cat. She does like to sit out in the courtyard in the evenings, but only if I leave the front door open. Being deaf makes her very cautious and any movement outside, someone walking up, or coming down the stairs sends her back into the house immediately. She does not roam! If the door accidently closes while she is outside she will definitely let you know about it! At this point in her life, I think it would be best for Stevie to be an only animal in a calm home with no children. This poor girl deserves to be someones heart and soul. She will repay your patient care and attention with so much love!

I don't have any Vet records for her, I've never taken her to see a Vet. She doesn't have any health issues, no skin problems, no allergies, no fleas. I give her canned food twice a day and dry food is always available. She can be a picky eater. She really loves her "treat puzzles". Stevie is a grand old lady and I would love knowing she has found the right person to be with. I just retired and plan on traveling quite a bit, she wouldn't be happy with me gone all the time.
