A Bernese Aussie Doodle, more commonly known as an Australian Mountain Doodle (AMD) or Aussie Bernedoodle, is a designer dog breed that is a mix of an Australian Shepherd, a Bernese Mountain Dog, and a Poodle. This cross aims to combine the intelligence and energy of the Australian Shepherd, the gentle, loving nature of the Bernese Mountain Dog, and the hypoallergenic, long-lived qualities of the Poodle. Australian Mountain Doodles are intelligent, trainable, affectionate, and generally have a low-shedding, wavy or curly coat.
