AKC Toy Poodle Male “Sam”

Sam was born on the 18th of February of this year and has a litter sister and 2 brothers. He has come home to us after a brief stay with foster family to see his interactions and fitness for family life with children.  He is a loving playful boy who is great with playing with toys by himself and loves tug of war and fetch with his family.  He has all of his shots to include Rabies and is also Neutered.  His siblings have either gone to show homes meaning they will be in a show ring or their forever home.  Sam is ready to get out and have a forever family and he is living currently in a home.  Not kept in a facility outside of the home.  He lives with other dogs to include Toy, miniature and Standard Poodles as well as a Pomeranian and a Cocker Spaniel.  

Our dogs are out and able to use a doggie door and love to be in the grass and yard.  Most are great at stairs.  They are used to many sounds and have been out to the local Home Depot a number of times to meet other folks and hear and see other things.  We do not socialize them until after they have received all of their shots for their own health.

He has been seen by a veterinarian on a regular basis with Health checks, shots, deworming, Neutering and as a baby with tail docking and dew claw removal.

He is a wonderful little guy who will make a wonderful best friend for your family.  Toy breeds are normally lap dogs who love your time and attention and want to shower you with affection.  They are incredibly smart and learn things very well and can listen and obey very well.

Most enjoy the Poodle in part to the fact that they do not shed but this also brings the need for regular grooming.

Sam is silver in color and is a tall Toy in size.  Most toys will weigh between 3 and 5 lbs at this size.  His litter mates have been smaller in stature and weight.
